There are many resources available to support you on your cancer journey. I have personally used most of the resources listed below and found them extremely helpful during my treatment and recovery. I hope they will be helpful to you as well!
Financial Help
A small grant program to provide financial support to families navigating a parent or guardian’s cancer while raising children 0-6 years old.
The SAMFund provides critical financial resources to young adult cancer survivors (18-39) twice a year through grants in two categories: Financial Assistance Grants and Family Building Grants.
Retreats and Physical Adventures
Little Pink Houses of Hope offers free weeklong retreats for families affected by breast cancer to reconnect, celebrate life in a distinct way and rejuvenate.
Casting for Recovery offers free outdoor retreats for women affected by breast cancer.

The Rapunzel Project lists Financial assistance for patients using machine scalp cooling systemsor manual cold caps may be available
The Vermafoundation
offers free cap wigs for cancer patient in financial need (income verification required).

Provides free concierge care, such as access to a Naturopathic Doctor, a cancer coach, Breathwork and Health empowerment Sessions, a second opinion at a Research Hospital, and a Therapist to those in and out of treatment.

Makes proven treatments & survivor tips accessible to anyone
Unite for HER offers wellness resources to those who have been diagnosed with breast and ovarian cancers, helping to enhance their health and comfort while they undergo medical treatment. Access to knowledge, hands-on education, and encouragement to patients, allowing them to feel both empowered and restored. Access to Integrative Services, such as Massage Therapy, Meditation, Reiki, Acupuncture and Yoga is evaluated by their team.
Transportation
Pink Ribbon Good offers all Breast and Gynecological Cancer warriors free Rides to their treatment
The American Cancer Society Road To Recovery® program eases your burden by giving free rides to cancer-related medical appointments.
Meals
Pink Ribbon Good provides free healthy meals delivered to your doorstep for 12weeks.

Bright Spot Network provides young cancer survivors who are parents of small children with a safe space for individual and familial healing, recovery, and reconnection.

Pickles provides free peer-to-peer support and resources for kids and teens impacted by their parent’s cancer.

Books & Podcasts
The book “Radical Remission” was written by Kelly Turner, a researcher and counselor who was surprised that nobody was studying the cases of people who had achieved radical remission — which means getting better against all odds. She spent eight years traveling through 10 countries to find out what factors these people encountered. Her research presents nine factors that she believes can help even terminal patients turn their lives around. The book contains inspiring stories of people from all over the world who have gone through radical remission and made a journey back to wellness.
This book about cancer that won a Pulitzer Prize. The writer talks about how people described cancer in the past and how we treat it now. The book is well-written and gives hope to people battling cancer by showing how much people have persevered, suffered, and made progress in cancer treatment over time.
Dr. Deepa Halarvi is a Breast Surgeon and Survivor. This podcast dives into breast cancer care, sharing essential insights on treatment, patient support, and navigating the journey with strength.

Each program offers different Each program is unique and provides access to education and the supportive community of Unite for HER.
